After spending the week working from home because Karen had been diagnosed with the flu, by Friday we had had enough and needed to get out.  Saturday and Sunday was the yearly air show at Alliance Airport over in Ft Worth, but on Friday, I knew that many of the pilots, including the Blue Angels, would be practicing.  Feeling sure that we could go there without fear of close interaction with others, and thus not infecting anyone, I packed up Karen and our cameras and headed out.

As usual, the Blue Angels gave a great performance, even though it was just a rehearsal, and we got to see a few of the other pilots “showing off” as well.

Enjoy!  And remember, it is men and women like these who help keep this a free country!  Remember to thank them next time you see someone in uniform!
